Okonomiyaki is a tasty savoury pancake, often called “Japanese pizza.” It’s filled with veggies and topped with delicious sauces, and you can add ingredients like seafood or chicken to make it your own. Cooking it with our Fukuro Non-Stick Frying Pan ensures it cooks evenly without sticking, and cleanup is super easy.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, and eggs until the batter is smooth and creamy. Stir in the shredded cabbage and chopped green onions—mix it all up
Heat a Fukuro Non-Stick Frying Pan over medium heat. Add a small amount of vegetable oil.
Pour half the batter into the heated Fukuro Non-Stick Frying Pan, spread it into a pancake shape. Let it cook for about 4-5 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
Carefully flip the pancake using our Fukuro ProSilicone Spatula, and cook the other side for another 4-5 minutes. The spatula’s flexibility and heat resistance make it perfect for turning delicate pancakes without breaking them.
Once both sides are cooked, remove the pancake from the Fukuro Non-Stick Frying Pan. Drizzle with okonomiyaki sauce and Japanese mayonnaise in a zigzag pattern. Sprinkle seaweed flakes and bonito flakes on top.
Slice and enjoy your okonomiyaki.
